Turn Your Venue’s Audience Into Advertising Revenue

Every day, people choose to spend time in your venue. They wait for appointments, sit down for meals, browse, and relax. To a nearby business trying to reach local customers, that attention has value. With the right approach, in-venue advertising can turn it into a new revenue stream without making your space feel like a billboard.
Choose advertisers who fit your guests
The best advertisers are businesses your customers might genuinely use and that you would be comfortable recommending. Think about who complements your services rather than competes with them: a nearby restaurant for a salon, an insurance agent or detailer for an auto showroom, a local boutique for a café. Fit protects your atmosphere and makes the message more relevant.
It is fine to say no. Turning down an advertiser who does not match your brand is part of keeping the experience valuable, both for guests and for the advertisers you do accept.
Build clear, simple packages
Advertisers want to know what they are buying. A simple package might describe the length of the ad, how often it plays, whether it includes audio, a screen visual or both, and how long the agreement runs. You set your own price. There is no required rate, and what makes sense will depend on your venue, your hours and your market.
Plan for production and delivery
A professional ad has to be written, voiced or designed, and delivered into your program. Production and delivery charges can apply, and it is worth deciding up front whether you will build these into your package price or pass them to the advertiser. Being transparent about these costs avoids surprises later.
Keep frequency reasonable
Too few plays and an advertiser may not be noticed; too many and guests may tune out or feel sold to. A balanced rotation, interspersed with the music, respects the room. Your station's atmosphere should always come first.
- Select advertisers that complement your business and suit your guests.
- Describe each package clearly: format, frequency and term.
- Account for production and delivery charges.
- Protect the atmosphere with a sensible ad rotation.
Who sells the ads?
With the Sell It Yourself approach, your venue sells its own ad space and keeps its own ad proceeds, with no LLMG sales commission. Applicable production and delivery charges can still apply.
Some owners would rather not handle sales themselves. LLMG also offers optional services, including Advertiser Lead Assist and Full-Service Ad Sales, which are separate arrangements with their own terms. Full-Service Ad Sales, for example, is based on a share of collected advertising revenue. So not every arrangement is commission-free; it depends on the option you choose.
We do not promise any particular number of advertisers or level of income. Interest varies by venue, location and the effort put into outreach. What we can do is help you structure an offer that is clear, fair and consistent with your brand.
