Curl Girls Beauty Salon is a concept venue we created to show how business radio might work in a salon. It is not an actual client. It is a scene you can play to hear and see the idea for yourself.

A sound that feels like your brand

Clients often spend an hour or more in the chair. The music they hear becomes part of how they remember the visit. In this concept, warm R&B and Hip-Hop create a welcoming, confident energy that suits a modern salon. Your own salon might lean softer or more upbeat; the point is choosing a sound on purpose.

Feature what you offer

Salons have a natural captive moment: clients are seated, relaxed and often looking at a screen or mirror. That is a good time to mention a treatment they might not know about, a retail product your stylists recommend, or a membership or package.

  • A treatment or add-on service spotlight
  • Retail products available at the front desk
  • A rebooking reminder with a QR code to your booking page

A rebooking prompt is especially useful because it is specific. A client who scans before leaving has a clear next step, and your front desk has one less thing to remember.

Neighbors who share your clients

The best salon advertisers usually complement the service rather than compete with it: a nearby boutique, a nail studio, a photographer or a café next door. Advertising that feels like a helpful local tip protects the experience you have built.

If your venue sells its own ad space, it keeps its own ad proceeds; applicable production and delivery charges can still apply. Optional managed services, such as Advertiser Lead Assist or Full-Service Ad Sales, are separate arrangements with their own terms, including a share of collected revenue for Full-Service. You set your own prices either way.

Keeping it fresh for regulars

Salon clients tend to return every few weeks, which means they will hear and see your program many times. That is a strength and a risk. Repeating the same three messages indefinitely can make regulars stop noticing them, so it is worth rotating features with the seasons: a protective-style treatment before summer, a gift-card message before the holidays, or a new product line when it arrives.

Volume and pacing matter in a salon too. Stylists need to hear clients clearly during consultations, and dryers and conversation already add plenty of sound. A program set at a comfortable level, with messages spaced between several songs, keeps the atmosphere welcoming instead of noisy.

Finally, involve your team. Stylists know which services clients ask about most, and their suggestions often make the best features.

What to watch in the demo

In the Curl Girls scene, listen for how sample salon promotions and neighboring-business commercials sit between songs, and watch how the artwork changes on the salon screen. Think about which of your own services you would feature first.
